Marketplace Evangelism

Earlier this week, My friends and I met Lucient, a secondary school student who came home for a short break.

He told us he was saved and when we asked if he was baptized in the Holy Spirit. He said he didn’t believe in it.

Side note: And to be honest, it wasn’t only that he didn’t believe in it, he was also so indifferent and apathetic about it.

Well😂, one of my friends, Daniella, dished him a hot serving of Holy Ghost teaching. She told him how he was losing out on the full package of being in Christ. And also rejecting a gift God had given him (Luke 11:13)

Her approach was so direct and penetrating that I felt like crying for him at a point😂. But I’m grateful for the spirit of conviction which was sooo mighty in our midst. After my friend was done, she asked if he would like us to pray with him, but he declined which was completely fine with us. We knew the Holy Spirit had started His work on him.

We continued our outreach and met a lot of strongly convicted Muslims. And when I say strong, I mean strong😂. They’ll just allow us to talk, afterwards they’ll boldly say No.

That particular area was highly populated with Muslims, and they were a couple mosques here and there. It was so ironic compared to last week where Muslims were gladly accepting Jesus without argument.

On Thursday, I went out for outreach with my unit members in church. And this time around, we went to a market.

My first stop was with a couple, Mr and Mrs Indibuisi. They sold “designer” bags. I started off speaking to them and Mr Indibuisi told me he was already saved but his wife wasn’t. And glory to God, she gave her life to Christ💃🏼💃🏼.

Side note: My only concern was why he was saved and she wasn’t. And they’re married🌚. Oh well… thank God she’s saved now.

As we were about to round off, my partner and I decided to speak to a guy who owned a phone repair stand. We were hesitant at first because our time was far spent. Anyway, we went over to his stand, sat by him and we shared the glorious gospel with him.

When I started off, it seemed as though he had given his life to Christ because as usual, he was completing all the scriptures I was saying. After all was said and done, I asked him if he would like to give his life to Christ. And he said yes.

Gloryyy💃🏼💃🏼

I’m so grateful to God that we didn’t leave when we wanted to. God’s will is that all men are saved. All men. He’s the One who never leaves the one behind.

That’s all from here. But I leave you with our ever so great commission, “Go into all the world and openly publish and preach the good news (the Gospel) to all creatures[of all human race]. Mark 16:15(AMP)

Till I write to you next,

Stay Blessed ❤️
