Halfway into the week, I met Vision. I was on my way back from church and I saw him sitting by himself, so I decided to speak to him. When I approached him, he seemed so cold. He asked me what I wanted as if I had come to steal from himš
I told him I had come to share the love of God with Him. He told me he already knew what I was going to say. But he allowed me to go on. When I was done, he told me he had already given his life to Christ. But he had gone back to the ways of the world because God was too slow.
Side note: Hmm𤅠āis God too slow?ā No, heās not. Weāre just not patient enough. If we look at things in retrospect, weāll see that Godās timing is always the perfect timing. Itās like youāre driving on a long straight road, and youāre anxiously waiting for a turn. Being in that situation will be seemingly frustrating. But if you look at a map and see that in the next couple minutes, youāll be approaching a turn. Youāll calm down and keep driving right? Itās like so with God. God is looking at things from the viewpoint of a map(because heās up aboveš) but weāre looking at things straight on like the driver and soon frustration sets in.
The solution, however, is to look at things from Godās perspective. Look at the bigger picture.Ā Isaiah 55:8-9 says āFor My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.ā
I hope that made senseš
Vision told me he used to be a āferventā Christian and his name is actually Divine Favour. He told me he wished he could do what I was doing (that is, telling people about Christ) but he was way too deep in devilish things. I told him about the parable of the shepherd and how God was willing to leave 99 sheep in search of 1. And he was the 1.
I also told him about the story of the prodigal son and how God is so ready to run back to him if he can come back home. But he just kept wallowing in guilt. He didnāt even give me his number. He felt he was a lost case. Thereās never a lost case with God. His will is that ALL men will be saved (1st Tim 2:4)
It was getting really late, so I had to leave him but not without praying for him that heāll be restored back to the fold. And I would like to implore you to do the same. As youāre reading this, say a prayer for Divine Favour(Vision) that he will be restore back to the fold and that every guilt and condemnation he feels will be destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
After I left Vision, I met Omobolanle and Adebola and I decided to speak to them. They gave me listening ears. Glory to God and when I was done, Omobolanle gave her life to Christ. Gloryyy to Godšš¼šš¼. Adebola was already saved.Ā
Side note: The thing is Omobolanle and Adebola are friends. Maybe their conversation never reached the point of asking if either was saved. But the Bible says that if we donāt tell that about The Way(Jesus) and they go to hell, their blood will be on our hands (Ezekiel 3:18-19). Itās like you have the antidote to a personās ailment and you choose not to give the person.Ā
Testimony timeš
Remember Victor my gatemanās son from my last post, well… he won a soul. Glory to Godšš¼šš¼. Itās so amazing to see a transformed life, really. His zeal and zest for the things of God is jaw dropping. God be praisedšš½
Thatās all from here. But I leave you all with our great commission, āGo into all the world and openly publish and preach the good news {the Gospel} to every creature(of the whole human race). Mark 16:15(AMP)
Till I write to you next,
Stay Blessed ā¤ļø
