“I need Facts”

I met Victoria on Tuesday evening and well, she was a whole lot. I was in my way to my hostel and I just perceived God would have me pass a different route leading to my hostel.

I walked past a newly opened restaurant and saw a lady sitting down outside, charging her phone. I decided to speak to her. I walked up to her and asked her if I could talk to her.

She was a little defensive at first, giving me “the state-your-case-and-get-outta-here-attitude”. I told her I would like to tell her about the love of God and unenthusiastically allowed me to go on.

I started off by asking her if she knew that God loved her and she said No.

Side note: Deep down I was happy because I knew that she was definitely not saved and that was why God had me pass that route.

Then she went on to say, “I don’t know him, so why how will I know he loves me”. I told her who God was and what he did for us through Jesus. (John 3:16)

And how no one would ever love her like God does and how He’s willing to have a relationship with her only if she can give Him her heart by giving her life to Christ.

After all was said and done, I asked her if she would like to give her life to Christ and she said “No”. She told me she wasn’t just going to have a relationship with a God she doesn’t know. “I need facts, I can’t just believe like that”.

Side note: Which other fact again? At this point, I didn’t even know what to say. I was asking the Holy Spirit to tell me what to say(because he was the one that told me to speak to her🌚).

She was so indifferent about God that I had to ask her if God had offended her. She said “No, how will He offend me when I don’t know Him”.

It was starting to get really late, so I had to leave. So I asked her if I could invite to church. She said “No”. But she told me I could come and speak to her anytime.

Side note: Truth be told, I’m so happy I met  Victoria. She was such a tough cookie. But there’s no heart that too hardened for God to penetrate.

Victor’s Infilling

Remember Victor, from my last 2 posts, He spoke in tongues. Gloryyy to God💃🏼

He has been asking me questions about speaking in tongues and how he could start speaking in tongues. Thank God for his curiosity.

His infilling was a funny one, to be honest😅 because he was laughing at himself at first. But eventually, he got serious about it and the Holy Spirit just took over.

That’s all from here, but I leave you all with our great commission, “ Go into all the world and openly publish and preach the good news [Gospel] to every creature (of the human race). Mark 16:15(AMP)

Till I write to you next,

Stay Blessed ❤️
