Beautiful feet 👣

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”(Isaiah‬ ‭52‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Testimony time: 6th Post😊. Glory to God for the grace to be consistent and for regularly supplying me with content ideas to post. Thank you Jesus🙇🏽‍♀️

My friends and I came out in our numbers on Tuesday (we were just 6 but it still counts🌚) with the sole aim to “bomb hell”. We went in groups of 2 and met up afterwards to pray and thank God for the harvest.

I paired up with Victoria and spoke to a couple people. But two stories stood out distinctly.

The first was with Tomisin and Zainat. I started off speaking to them and at first it seemed as though I wasn’t getting through to them. I thought Tomisin was already saved because she was completing the scriptures I was quoting. Zainat was obviously a Muslim, and I would read from her body language that she was getting tired of what I was saying.

But I continued anyway😁 and thank God I did. They started paying attention and the end result was Salvation🤗. They both gave their lives to Christ💃🏼. Glory to God.

The second distinct story was with a guy I met, I think his name is Cosmos or Louis (I’m not too sure). I actually sighted himself and his friend and I wanted to speak to them both. But the minute I walked up to them both, his friend said to me, “shey na God you wan talk to me about, if na God I no wan hear oo” and he walked away.

At first I thought he was joking because we were all laughing when he said it but he was serious o😅. He actually left us and started walking ahead of his friend.

I turned to Cosmos/Louis and he said he’ll like to hear me out. I started speaking to him and as I was about to round off, he asked me if I was satisfied (because I was telling him how there’s a void in everyone and only knowing God can fill that void and truly satisfy). I said yes I was satisfied.

He told me that wasn’t true, that no one’s ever satisfied. He told me his parents were ministers and he studied Religion in the university, therefore he knew all I was telling him.

So I decided to test his Bible knowledge and ask him if he remembered the story of Jesus and the woman at the well. And how Jesus told her that the water he gives would never make her thirst again(John 4: 14). I told him only Jesus satisfies and if he wasn’t satisfied he hasn’t drank enough.

At this point, his friend was calling to him, so he had to leave. I thanked him for his time and prayed for him that God would open his eyes of understanding because I could tell that he was a very religious person.

My UITH Experience 🤗

On Thursday, I went for outreach with my unit members in church to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).

We started off with door to door evangelism at their quarters and a lottt of them were Muslims, like staunch Muslims, like Muslims that don’t want to hear about anything other than Islam.

Yeah😐…that staunch.

As we continued, I saw a guy coming from afar that was just frowning. I decided to break the ice and tell a joke.

Side note: Making your “preachee”(made up evangelism word) smile eases things. Tell a joke or compliment them in a way to make them feel relaxed about listening to you.

His name was Mohammed. Often times, when I speak to people and I ask them their names and they say, “Misturah” or “Ahmed” or “Aisha” or any Muslim name in general, I’m a little thrown aback because I just feel like they might view what I’m saying as a religious thing and set a guard over their ears.

Mohammed was a similar case. When he told me his name was Mohammed, I thought to myself, “Hmmmm”😂

But I continued and he listened, like he really listened, he was so convinced. When I asked him if he would like to give his life to Christ. He said, “Ahh, Aunty your mouth sweet”

Side note: 😂😂. It’s true😌

He said he would like to give his life to Christ. But he asked me a very profound question that only a few people ask and that also showed me he was really serious about this new life.

He asked how he was going to cope because he was a Muslim. So how will he be going to church and mosque at the same time.

Side note: At first, I didn’t know what to say because not many people ask, so it’s not something I’m being frequently asked about. And this just showed how serious and intentional Mohammed was being about his new life. But thank God for the Holy Spirit🤗

I told him he wasn’t going to stop going to the mosque instantly but with time as he grows in the things of God, all he would seek for was the presence of God. And places he could satisfy the longing in his heart to know God more which is only found in places God is found, i.e Church.

After all was said and done. He said the salvation prayer after me and Mohammed is now a new creature💃🏼💃🏼(2nd Corinthians 5:17)

This past week, I met people who had a hunger. Truth be told, we all have a hunger for something, a void we’re all trying to fill. But the only person that truly satisfies is Jesus. Only his presence does. Every other thing is just futile.

I’ll end with this, leaving you with our great commission, “Go into all the world and publish and preach openly the good news (the gospel) to all creatures[of the whole human race]John 15:16(AMP)

Till I write to you next,

Stay blessed❤️

  1. Hmmmmm

Thank God for your consistency Ma

I hope to see Mohammed deliver the kingdom of hell to our Lord sometimes in the future and it would be because you were willing to make your feet beautiful for that particular day.

Thank you for all that you do Ma
